“A recurring duality in his work: the thematic tug of war between life and death, good and evil, and the innocence we’re born with versus the sinners we become”—UP Magazine

Snake Eyes

Snake Eyes bridges physical and digital art through embedded technology. The painting features an integrated NFC chip that, when tapped with a smartphone, instantly reveals its animated digital counterpart. This interaction also unlocks the artwork’s certificate of authenticity, securely stored on the blockchain, ensuring it cannot be altered, lost, or forged.

Alongside the animation, viewers can access curated information about the piece and its creator, creating a layered, interactive experience. Snake Eyes transforms how art is viewed, owned, and authenticated in a connected world.

About Ross

Ross Pino explores the full spectrum of human experience, navigating the tension between opposing forces - light and dark, order and chaos, the playful and the profound.

His work translates the volatility of existence into a bold, immediate visual language.

Known for his expressive skulls and skeletal forms, Pino pairs raw, gestural mark-making with a disarming sense of play. Beneath their irreverent surface lies a deeper reflection on mortality, duality, and the emotional extremes that shape us.

His practice carries a distinct countercultural energy - rebellious, instinctive, and unpolished - yet remains accessible, balancing intensity with moments of unexpected levity.
